Is the repair worth it, or should I change cars?
It depends on the vehicle’s value and the extent of the damage. You get a written estimate and our honest opinion — we have also said "don’t repair it" when it isn’t worth it.
The engine burns oil — is it serious?
Consumption above ~1 litre per 1,000 km needs investigation: anything from valve stem seals to piston rings. A borescope inspection shows the cause without opening the engine.
