We respect your personal data. This page explains in plain language what we collect when you use achaiastars.gr, why, and what your rights are.

  1. Data controller

  2. What we collect and why

    Contact form: full name, email, phone, vehicle model and your message. We use them solely to respond to your request. Delivery is handled by Web3Forms, acting as a processor that forwards the message to our email.

    Online appointments: when you book, the details you submit (name, email, description) are recorded through Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling. Google’s Privacy Policy applies.

    Visitor analytics: if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics (pages, visit duration, device). If you decline, it never loads.

  3. Cookies and local storage

    The site stores on your device only your cookie choice (accept or decline). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after your explicit consent via the banner. You can change your mind by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

  4. Third-party services

    Some parts of the site load third-party content: the map (Google Maps) and the booking calendar (Google Calendar) load only after consent or your own action, and the Gallery page shows Instagram posts via EmbedSocial. Each service processes data under its own privacy policy (Google, EmbedSocial/Meta).

  5. Legal basis

    Processing is based on: (a) your consent, for analytics and third-party embeds, and (b) steps taken prior to entering into a contract — i.e. handling your request — for the contact form and appointments.

  6. Data retention

    Messages and booking requests are kept for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal obligations, and are then deleted. We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

  7. Your rights

    You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and port your data. To exercise them, email info@achaiastars.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
